MarketerDirectory

Methodology

A short account of how the directory is built, so a reader can judge what each page does and does not show.

Inclusion

  • The provider has an official website that describes a marketing service it offers.
  • There is enough public information to write an accurate profile that is distinct from others. Sparse candidates stay unpublished.
  • The provider's own pages support the services, location, and specialties shown. Nothing is added from general knowledge.
  • No payment is required, and no backlink is required.

Evidence labels

Provider states
A service, specialty, or experience claim that the provider makes about itself. It has not been independently verified.
Publicly listed
An exact price or term that appears in a linked source page.
Not found in checked sources
The fact was not in the pages that were read. It may exist elsewhere, and it does not mean the provider has no such fee or term.
Checked date
The day the source text was retrieved for the listing. It is not a verification date, and it is not refreshed silently.

Fees and terms

Each fee is stored with its currency, billing unit, scope, whether ad spend is separate, and the page it came from. Starting and range language is kept. Fees are not converted between currencies, divided by an assumed duration, averaged, or ranked, and a project fee is never presented as a monthly fee.

A minimum term appears only when the source states one. Wording such as no long contracts is quoted as written and is not turned into a number of months.

Display order

Where it applies, profiles under Featured profiles are shown first, in a fixed order set in the site configuration. The configured order is 2 profiles. Everything else follows A to Z. This is a layout decision. It is not a score, a ranking, a measure of quality, or an endorsement, and there is no hidden scoring rule.

A featured profile appears on a page only if it matches that page. A filter that a featured profile does not match removes it from the view. The explicit A to Z sort on the directory page orders every profile alphabetically, featured ones included.

Comparisons

A comparison page applies one stated rule to the profiles. It is published only when at least 5 profiles qualify. Its table is generated from the same records as the profiles, so the two cannot disagree.

Limits

  • There are no reviews, star ratings, or performance scores.
  • Client lists, testimonials, awards, and result figures on provider sites are not republished as proof.
  • The directory does not claim to be a complete list of providers, and it makes no claim about which provider is best for a given business.
